About the Position
Rebel is seeking candidates for a full-time Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis: Lead and review financial analysis and modeling of transactions and financial scenarios as relevant for client context, perform complex modeling and analysis when beyond the capacity of junior staff;
- Report writing and presentations: Lead development of client reports that may include making recommendations from financial analysis of specific transactions, developing alternative finance and alternative project delivery strategies, drafting commercial aspects of procurement documentation, evaluating bids for PPP projects on behalf of clients, etc.; present report findings during in-person and virtual client meetings;
- Business development: Maintain active relationships to drive new business opportunities; lead proposal writing to respond to RFPs, RFQs, and other requests from public agencies, multilateral development banks, private infrastructure developers, and other potential clients;
- Team management: Lead and motivate others in executing work for client deliverables, train junior professionals in consulting and financial modeling techniques;
- Client engagement: Inspire confidence among clients at all touchpoints (e.g., during business development, scoping conversations, discussion of project progress and deliverables, etc.);
- Other responsibilities: Shape the company by driving efforts to improve how we do business and driving our future success (e.g., leading recruitment, driving marketing efforts, etc.).
Travel: Once the world returns to “normal”, projects may require domestic or international travel of up to approximately 25% of the time.
About You
The ideal candidate possesses the following profile:
- Five to seven or more years of infrastructure experience with a public agency; financial institution; consulting firm; and/or planning, engineering, or development firm;
- Master’s degree in finance, business, economics, public policy, urban planning, or related fields;
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint including experience with complex cash flow and project/municipal financial models;
- Excellent English writing and communications skills;
- Spanish or Portuguese writing and communication skills are a positive;
- Passion for making an impact in Rebel’s focus sectors;
- Interest in infrastructure development in Latin America and the Caribbean a positive;
- The ability and drive to grow as a professional and desire to develop business as an owner of a firm; and
- The ability to navigate and thrive in an entrepreneurial/flexible business environment.
