Junior Content Coordinator

Responsibilities for the Content Coordinator

  • Familiarize yourself with the brand ideals and website to create content that supports our objectives and desired identity of journalistic rigour and a wink of humour.
  • Manage the daily activities of content-making, and oversee and improve the content for the website, social media, campaigns, newsletter and other communications efforts.
  • Cooperate with the communications team to create content, and monitor its effectiveness.
  • Strategize and maintain a content marketing calendar.

Qualifications for Content Coordinator

  • A critical eye for detail and planning.
  • At least one to two years of agency experience or experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company’s brand identity.Written communication skills and an ability to read and write copy in English and Dutch.
  • Experience with web and social media engagement platforms, strategies and best practices.

About Rebel 

In 2002, Rebel started in Rotterdam as a group of financial advisors. Nowadays we provide much more than financial advice. More and more we are investors and initiators ourselves – for projects that make the world a little bit better.

The communications team

Rebel’s communications team supports the ventures operating under the Rebel brand in achieving their commercial goals and reaching the right target groups globally. With Rebel rapidly growing over the past few years, communications requires a new mindset: We no longer approach Rebel as a Rotterdam-based company with some offices abroad. Rather, we are increasingly growing into a truly international company with offices established worldwide. We are in the process of developing a global brand strategy, to be rolled out in the coming years. We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with a knack for content.

Salary indication

This junior role offers between 2500 and 2800 euros per month at 40 hours, depending on the skill set (and how many cookies you bring!). There is also a possibility to work 32 hours. You will work both remotely and at our office in Rotterdam.
