Rebel to support financial reform in six Asian City Corporations

The rapidly growing cities of Bangladesh face serious health challenges from inadequate provision of basic services. Rebel has been appointed to support six City Corporations to reform and modernize their financial management systems to deliver crucial services more effectively and sustainably. This will improve the quality of urban life and enable these cities to compete more effectively in the rapidly growing Asian marketplace.

We will work with the Corporations over the next three years to introduce modern and computerized accounting systems, performance-based budgeting, improved tax collection and stronger involvement of the private sector in service delivery.
